The Clough Foundation has been a proud partner of Stars Foundation since 2021. Stars delivers programs tailored to meet the needs of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women to promote positive education, employment and life outcomes.  

Stars offer many personal development activities and experiences including academic support, personal health and wellbeing, music, drama and dance, art, cooking and nutrition, and exercise and sport, as well as community activities to build their life-skills and further develop their links to culture.

The Clough Foundation is a proud state industry partner of MATES in Construction. The partnership began in 2020 to ensure Clough is part of the change that’s needed in the construction industry’s approach to mental health and suicide prevention.

MATES provides mental health and suicide prevention education and training nationally, through development programs on sites, and by supporting workers in need through case management and a 24/7 help line.

The Clough Foundation has partnered with Starlight Children’s Foundation since 2017 to support its Healthier Futures Initiative (HFI).

The HFI aims to improve the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children living in remote communities by engaging with kids through song, dance and storytelling to encourage healthy living practices and boost health clinic attendance and community confidence in the healthcare system.

The Clough Foundation has been working with ChildFund Australia since 2014 to support programs aimed at improving the health of children and mothers in Papua New Guinea including maternal and child health care, health clinic upgrades and immunisation patrols to remote regions of the Rigo District.

ChildFund Australia works to reduce poverty for children in many of the world’s most disadvantaged communities.

The Clough Foundation has been working with Clontarf Foundation since 2014 to support the education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem and employment prospects of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men around Australia.

The Clontarf Foundation operates 123 academies across Australia, supporting more than 9,000 participants and employing over 475 dedicated staff members. Using the existing passion these young men have for sport allows Clontarf to attract them to school, and keep them coming.

Clough's North America team proudly supported Southwest Houston United Responds (SHUR), repairing the water damage sustained in local homes after the devastating impacts of Hurricane Harvey.  SHUR is a nonprofit organization that raises funds and recruits and mobilizes volunteers to distribute financial aid and construction materials, providing home repair services and other transition and support services necessary to assist families from damage by Hurricane Harvey to their homes.

Clough proudly sponsored the Annual Next Wave Charity Golf Tournament, Houston to raise funds for the PTSD Foundation of America through Camp Hope. Camp Hope brings hope and healing to Veterans suffering from combat related Post Traumatic Stress through free support services such as mentoring, group counseling and interim housing. 

In 2022, over $225,000 was raised for the PTSD Foundation. 

Clough's team in North America hosted a food drive and collected non-perishable food donations to help replenish the Pasadena Food Pantry, who serves the Pasadena and Deer Park areas giving food and clothing assistance to those in need. With the Food Bank only a few miles down the road from the Project Traveler construction site, the team rose to the challenge, eager to support our local community. 

Clough’s North America team proudly participated in the 8th annual charity BBQ cook-off competition benefiting Camp Hope, an organization that supports veterans who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.  The event gathered 38 different cook teams from various companies and organizations across Houston and welcomed nearly 1,500 total attendees. The team tent was open to employees, family and friends, with a turn out of nearly 100 Clough attendees. Clough is committed to supporting Military Veterans and their families. 

Each year, Clough opens its doors to for year 11 and 12 students to spark their interest in a career in STEM. Students learn about engineering as a career and get involved in some exciting activities.

This year, the students got to meet some of our talented engineers and learn about our business, Scholarships, and Intern and Graduate Programs.

Clough was a proud sponsor of Solaris Cancer Care's Boards up for Cancer event.

The event, in which boards were placed end to end from Trigg to Scarborough, raised money for Solaris Cancer Care, which provides free support to patients and their families who are dealing with cancer. Solaris services include counselling, complementary therapies, education, wellness activities, support groups, courses, and workshops.

The event raised nearly $40,000 for Solaris Cancer Care and In all, 874 boards were laid end-to-end on the coast line. 

Our Lombrum Infrastructure Project team in Papua New Guinea, is an active participant in their local community. They were invited to attend a ceremony at the Papitalai Secondary School in Manus for the official opening of its three new kit houses. Clough delivered two truckloads of gravel to assist with refurbishing the school yard.

Clough is a proud fundraising partner for Purple Bra Day, supporting Breast Cancer Care WA. 

Since 2000, Breast Cancer Care WA has provided specialist breast care nursing, counselling, and financial support to women and men affected by breast cancer, as well as their partners and families, throughout the WA community.
